Dr. Martin has more than 20 years of experience in forensic mental health and criminal justice settings, including work alongside Phoenix police as a mobile crisis therapist, followed by service in correctional and court-adjacent environments. Her earlier work included inmate assessment, treatment planning, crisis response, institutional mental health support, and justice-system collaboration. She later served as a Pretrial Officer and Clinical Director at a community trauma clinic, where she oversaw program development and ethical care delivery.
